The Curse of Chucky

The last few years, rumors have circulated regarding a straight up remake of the original Childs Play.....as well as a musical. Yeah, a broadway musical starring the killer good guy doll.

Well instead of those projects..... this fall they'll start production of "The Curse of Chucky" which promises to go back to it's "scary" roots without the campy laughs. Setting is at a funeral where guests start getting murdered. I guess it going to be a direct to DVD effort, which obviously isnt a good sign. But you never know. SEED was fucking clown shoes. But if they stay true to their promise of having the same feel as the first 3, it could be really cool.

I gotta go back and watch Bride of Chucky again.....  I freakin' love that movie.

Fuckin A mane......  One of my favorite movie going experiences of the teenage years. This came out Freshman year for me. Childs Play 3 got rented every single Saturday when I would be with my father for about 4 months straight (I was 7 years old at the time) so seeing Chucky on the big screen made my pantaloons tight.

Funny little story....sophmore year Spanish class.....we were watching Selena towards the end of the year. My friend came up with a good one. He stole his sisters copy of Selena and removed the sticker off the VHS cassette. Took a blank tape and recorded the sequence from Bride of Chucky where the gay guy gets wasted the truck on the highway. A little switcher-roo and the entire class was treated to that scene. Good times had by all.
