The move is about 99% complete! The only thing I have to do is touch up the bathroom in our old apt (we started to paint but never finished, so now we re-painted it a completely different color), do some last minute cleaning and get the remainging food/stuff out. I'm doing this tomorrow when I'm off work.
Speaking of work...I got poison ivy. I hate this shit. The sad thign is that I was a Boy Scout for 7 years. I should be able to spot this shit on demand.
Lastly, the INHOUSE tech that "installed" my service today was a douchebag. He didn't re-run two lines because he apparently thought I could (or should) do it myself. My phone service isn't working, buti i have cable and internet. Good thing to know that if there's an emergency I can WATCH Cops instead of calling them.
As it turns out, my modem (which also processes my phone signal) is on my old account. To get everything in working order I have to have it swapped out. On 10/06/2008 my old account becomes disconnected, which will in turn terminate my CURRENT Internet service. I'm havine my eMTA (phone modem) replaced on Saturday and there should be no problem.
