Oh hidy ho officer, we've had a doozy of a day. There we were minding our own business, just doing chores around the house, when kids started killing themselves all over my property.

Tucker and Dale vs Evil (Seriously my favorite movie I've seen this year.)
I stopped by my buddies on Friday but didnt have time to watch the entire thing, but he showed me a bunch of parts from Tucker and Dale. I was pretty entertained to say the least. I was pissing myself when one of them had the bee stings on his face and was pouring beer on himself and yelling at the other one about the board game he was playing "Fucking same board game!" beer going everywhere.....awesome. Needless to say, I'll have to order this soon and catch the whole thing. I think it's getting limited release in theaters this month.... |

Had to do a load of laundy that consisted of swimming trunks that I haven't worn in fucking years.....but I felt it was necessary to wash them.....I heard it wasnt a good idea to leave urine soaked articles of clothing in your drawer for any extended period of time. Fuckin idiot.

Yeah no kidding ,right? Not only did it make Mac a household name, but for a time it was the most successful comedy of all time. I have mixed feelings about it..some of it's gold, some of it lays on the schmaltz so thick that I have to roll my eyes- but I will say this: That flick is one of the few examples I've ever come across of straight out slapstick really working well. As a rule, I prefer clever writing to sight gags.. I generally find that a properly timed, well crafted line of dialogue is usually better for a heartfelt laugh than any sort of pratfall. But watching that kid lay a full-on smackdown on Pesci and Stern was (and continues to be) genuinely funny. |
