Yeah, the contrarian in me wants me to not be excited, but I'm pretty damn excited nonetheless.

Yeah it appears to be very much in the spirit of the first dark ED film. Actually more so.

Not only that but they are making Evil Dead 4 to come out next year.

Than they plan on having the two separate Evil Dead universes meet up for there own Avengers type of film. No, I did not just make that up. Directly from the masters Raimi and Campbell's mouth.

Of course Bruce points out the obvious that both ED4 and the ED remake have to be successful for this to happen.

Oh, please say it isn't so.  Crap.  Well, it looks like ED remake is a hit already.  Let's hope ED 4 sucks ass so that this train wreck doesn't happen.

I'm in Ireland for work right now and a bunch of double decker buses have ads plastered all over, they're crazy looking. Unfortunately it doesn't come out here until the 12th, so I'll have to wait until I get home to see it. I can't wait.

Could not get a sitter for Friday.  Tried again Saturday.  And Sunday.  I think everyone in frakking town will have seen ED before I have, God knows they've taken all the babysitters.

Sigh.

On the other hand, the Mr. tried really, really really hard to get us a sitter, and for first showing on Friday.  Given that he could give a rat's ass about ED or horror in general, I thought that was really sweet.

Vamp and I caught this Friday night........  movie is fucking incredible. Literally never lets up. I have a few small issues but nothing really significant. It wasnt "The most terrifying movie I'll ever experience"  but it was awesome nevertheless.

The chainsaw sequence might be one of the coolest things these eyes have ever witnessed.

I thoroughly enjoyed it.  I think I clutched my purse throughout the whole movie.  There was one part in particular that I thought was super hokey, but all in all it was outstanding.  Too bad I missed the end credit sequence.

The Conjuring trailer made me squeal a couple times.  Smiley
